• Laughing Buddhas is a 500-word birth story previously published in The Gratitude Book Project: My Favorite Christmas Memory. Just click on "Laughing Buddhas" to read the short and sweet story about the arrival of my firstborn.
• "Roots to Water" is about my first trip with my family to mainland China to visit my father's home village that I had adapted from Well Water Woman for a Water Aid anthology entitled Of Words and Water 2014 that is free to download at Smashwords.

Beta Reads

Want to read a work in progress (WIP) early enough to shape its final form? If so, you may be interested in beta reading!

A beta reader enjoys reading an early draft of a book and gives feedback that may shape the final form of the book.

Feedback includes:

• What worked? What didn't?
• What still puzzled you or was left unresolved by the book's end?
• Any glaring questions or errors, such as change in place/time/etc.?
• Obvious spelling or grammatical mistakes?

An ARC is an Advanced Reader Copy of a book that is provided for free to a reader in exchange for an honest review. If you are interested in receiving an ARC for an upcoming release, please fill out the form below.
